Receiving & Inbound Logistics

Receiving & Inbound Logistics in Southern California.
Same-Day Check-In. Zero Limbo.

When your inventory arrives at a 3PL’s dock, it should be logged, inspected, and available to sell the same day. Not 5 to 7 days later. Not sitting “in process.”
At 6G Logistic, every inbound shipment gets received, inspected, scanned, and entered into our WMS the same business day it arrives. You get a receiving report before end of day. Your inventory is immediately available no waiting, no guessing, no black hole between the truck and your dashboard.
Step Tracker

What Happens When Your Inventory Arrives - 5 Steps

Step 1: Physical receiving at our dock.
Your shipment arrives at our Jurupa Valley, Lake Forest, Commerce, or Perris facility. Our team unloads and counts every carton at the dock.
Step 2: Unit-level inspection.
We open cartons and inspect at the unit level. Damaged units get flagged and photographed immediately. You're notified the same day with a damage report - never after the fact.
Step 3: Barcode scanning and WMS entry.
Every SKU is scanned and logged into our WMS. Quantities confirmed against your purchase order or ASN. Discrepancies flagged and communicated to you same day.
Step 4: Same-day receiving report.
We send you a full receiving report before end of business: units received, units inspected, discrepancies noted, and inventory now available in your account.
Step 5: Inventory goes live.
Your new inventory is available in your WMS account immediately - no activation delay, no minimum holding time.

Receiving FAQ

Same business day. Every shipment that arrives before our receiving cutoff is logged, scanned, and available in your WMS account before end of day. You receive a receiving report confirming quantities and flagging any discrepancies.
Damaged units are identified during unit-level inspection, photographed, and reported to you the same day. We document every damaged unit with photos so you have a clear record for supplier claims or insurance. We never silently restock damaged inventory.
Yes. For clients who send advance shipping notices (ASNs) or purchase orders before shipment arrival, we match received quantities against your PO and flag any shortages or overages. This keeps your inventory records accurate from day one.
Yes. We receive everything from small parcel shipments to full container loads. Our dock can accommodate LTL freight, full truckloads, and import containers at all four California warehouse locations.
We invoice a $500/month minimum across all services. Receiving charges count toward that minimum. If your total monthly charges — receiving, storage, pick and pack, shipping — come in under $500, we bill you the difference.
Yes. Many of our clients have their overseas suppliers ship directly to our facility. We receive, inspect, and log vendor-direct international shipments the same way we receive domestic freight.
