How the Walmart Marketplace Integration Works
Step 1: We connect to your Walmart Seller account via the Walmart Marketplace API
Walmart provides a Seller API for order management and fulfillment. We connect using your API credentials, which you generate in your Walmart Seller Center under Developer Portal.
Step 2: Walmart orders flow into our WMS automatically
New orders appear in our system minutes after they're placed. We track Walmart's estimated ship date for every order and flag anything at risk of missing its window.
Step 3: Same-day shipping for orders before 2pm Pacific
For Walmart's 2-day delivery program (Two Day), on-time shipping is non-negotiable. Orders received before our cutoff ship same day via 2-day carriers.
Step 4: Tracking uploads to Walmart automatically
Tracking numbers and carrier information push back to Walmart Seller Center via the API when we ship. Walmart marks the order as shipped and sends your customer their delivery notification.
Step 5: Returns processed within 48 hours
Walmart's return policy requires sellers to process returns efficiently. We receive Walmart returns, inspect, classify, and report within 48 hours.

What Walmart Requires for WMS Integration
WALMART SELLER API CREDENTIALS: Generated in Walmart Seller Center. You create a production API key and share the Client ID and Client Secret with us. These can be revoked at any time.
SHIPPING COMPLIANCE FOR TWODAY: To participate in Walmart’s TwoDay program, you must meet Walmart’s shipping speed requirements. We ship via FedEx 2Day or UPS 2-Day Air as required. Our SoCal locations allow 2-day ground delivery to much of the West, reducing the need for air on Western orders.
ORDER ACKNOWLEDGMENT: Walmart requires sellers to acknowledge orders within a set time window. Our integration automatically acknowledges orders when they’re received in our WMS you never have an unacknowledged order.
CANCELLATION RATE: Walmart monitors cancellation rates carefully. Our real-time inventory sync prevents orders from being accepted when stock is unavailable, which is the most common cause of seller-initiated cancellations.

Our real-time inventory sync prevents this by keeping your Walmart listing inventory count accurate. If stock reaches zero, we can trigger an automatic listing pause until you restock. No orders get confirmed for items we can’t ship.
