Returns Processing

Returns Processing in California. Inspected. Restocked. Sellable in
48 Hours.

Returns are the part of ecommerce that most 3PLs handle badly. Inventory piles up in a corner. Inspection takes weeks. You lose visibility into what’s sellable and what isn’t. And your customers have no idea what happened to their return.
At 6G Logistics, returns are processed within 48 hours of arrival at our facility. Every unit inspected. Every sellable item back in your available inventory. Every unsellable item documented, photographed, and reported to you the same day we find it.
Process Works

How Our Returns Process Works

Step 1: Return arrives at our facility.
Customer returns arrive via any carrier FedEx, UPS, USPS, or freight. We accept returns at all four of our Southern California warehouse locations.
Step 2: Unit-level inspection.
Every returned unit is opened and physically inspected. We check for damage, completeness, original packaging condition, and resale ability.
Step 3: Classification.
Each unit gets classified as one of three categories:
  • Sellable: returned in new or like-new condition - restocked immediately.
  • Refurbish able: minor damage that can be remediated - flagged and reported to you with an action recommendation.
  • Unsellable: damaged beyond repair, missing components, or otherwise unfit for resale - photographed and reported for your disposition decision.
Step 4: Disposition.
Sellable units go straight back into your available inventory immediately available for the next order. Unsellable units wait for your instruction: destroy, donate, liquidate, or return to you.
Step 5: Returns report.
You receive a returns report showing every unit processed: status, condition, photos of damage where present, and your updated inventory levels. Transparent. Actionable. Same day.

Ecommerce Returns

For DTC brands on Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, or other platforms, we integrate your returns flow directly into your order management system. When a return is processed and a unit is restocked, your platform inventory updates in real time. No manual reconciliation.

For Shopify merchants: your inventory count reflects the restock automatically.
For Amazon FBM and FBA: we process FBA removals and FBM customer returns and provide condition-graded inventory reports for your Seller Central records.

B2B Returns

For B2B and retail clients, we handle bulk retail returns palletized returns from retail stores, distributor inventory recalls, and vendor-managed inventory returns. Every pallet received, every carton opened, every unit inspected and classified.

Why Fast Returns Processing Matters

Every day a sellable item sits in return limbo instead of available inventory is a day you can't sell it again. Fast returns processing directly increases your sellable inventory velocity and reduces stockouts on your best-moving SKUs. For your customers, a return that gets processed in 48 hours keeps them coming back. A return that disappears for three weeks loses you a customer permanently.
