How it Works
How the Etsy Integration Works
Step 1: We connect to your Etsy shop via the Etsy API
Etsy provides an OAuth-based API for shop management. We connect as an authorized application with read access to orders and write access to shipping tracking. You authorize the connection in your Etsy account.
Step 2: New Etsy orders flow into our WMS automatically
When a buyer purchases from your Etsy shop, the order appears in our warehouse management system. We pull orders at regular intervals and also support webhook notifications for real-time updates.
Step 3: We pack orders with your branded materials
Your branded boxes, tissue paper, thank-you cards, ribbon, stickers, or any other packaging elements are stored in our warehouse. We pack every Etsy order to your exact spec. Your unboxing experience is preserved.
Step 4: Tracking numbers sync back to Etsy automatically
When we ship, the tracking number and carrier are uploaded to Etsy via the API. Etsy marks your order as shipped and sends your customer their shipping notification.
Step 5: Your Etsy shop stats stay clean
On-time shipping, positive reviews, and low cancellation rates are what keep Etsy shops growing. Our same-day shipping and accurate inventory management protect all three.

Requirements
What Etsy Requires for WMS Integration
ETSY OPEN API V3: Etsy’s current API version (v3) uses OAuth 2.0. The connection requires your authorization we send you an authorization link that connects our system to your shop. You can revoke at any time from your Etsy Account Settings → Apps & Permissions.
SHOP MANAGER PERMISSIONS: The Etsy account you authorize must have Shop Manager access. If someone else manages your Etsy account, they’ll need to be the one to authorize the connection.
ETSY POLICIES AND SELLER STANDARDS: Etsy measures seller performance on message response rate, reviews, and on-time delivery. Our integration focuses on the shipping side same-day processing and accurate tracking upload which is the most impactful factor in Etsy’s on-time delivery metric.
VARIATION MAPPING: Etsy listings with variations (size, color, material) require us to map each variation to a specific SKU in our WMS. During onboarding, we review your listings and create the variation mapping before your first order is processed.

Only if you want them to. All packaging is your branded packaging. The return address on shipping labels can be your business name and address, or ours your choice. Your Etsy shop messaging and thank-you notes remain personal and in your voice.
Yes. Etsy shops often have irregular or varied product sizes jewelry, candles, ceramics, apparel, prints. We handle each product category with appropriate packaging and carrier selection.
For shops with moderate order volume, we can include pre-written personalized notes you provide. For high-volume shops, we work with you to design a printed card that achieves the same effect at scale. Completely custom handwritten notes for high-volume shops aren’t operationally feasible, but we’ll help you find the best solution for your brand.
Yes. Both channels can connect to the same inventory pool in our WMS. Etsy orders get your Etsy-specific packaging. Shopify orders get your Shopify-specific packaging. Both ship from the same warehouse with unified inventory.
